TRANSFER NEWS: Man Utd working with Ed Woodward to meet Dortmund’s demands for the transfer of Jadon Sancho

Manchester United is already working on an arrangement to complete Borussia Dortmund’s sale of Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils are currently trying to improve the quality they have in their squad with the Premier League side of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Sancho is one of Europe’s hottest assets with Liverpool likes also linked.

Sunday Mirror, however, reports that United is already focusing on a deal to get Old Trafford the 19-year-old.

Rather than Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, who for years has also been consistently tied to a move to Manchester United.

Sancho departed Manchester City for first-team football two seasons ago and has since become one of Borussia Dortmund’s important players.

The sources also said that United Chief Ed Woodward is not going to baulk at charging the England winger over £ 100million.

In the combination of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James, Sancho will add to the speed Solskjaer’s side already own.

Yet it remains to be seen whether the Dortmund star wants to join, particularly if United fails to finish in the top four.

Liverpool legendary Dieter Hamann believes that in the shape of the Reds, United might have some rivalry. “What I heard was that there is considerable interest in Liverpool,” Hamann told Sky Germany. “I would imagine that they could become one of the biggest stakeholders next summer.

“He’s from Manchester City and I don’t know if he’d come back, but if they’ve ever been to the competitors, it’s also a problem for Manchester United.
