Teenager Arrested by Police in Lagos  for Stealing Tithes

One Elikor Ehud, an 18-year old boy, had been arrested by the Nigerian police force because he allegedly stole tithe and bid at the Divinity Chosen Vine Ministry in Lagos.

Ehud was detained in the state’s Ejigbo region says by Bala Elkana, the spokesman for police in Lagos. Elkana announced the robbery of the church to the police and the boy was arrested after an inquiry.

On 10/01/2019, at 2045 hours, a Pastor Moses Nwoke of Divine Chosen Vine Ministry, Ejigbo, reported at Ejigbo police station, that unknown people broke the wood boxes on the altar on 30/9/19 following church service and stole the money.

“The perpetrator called Elikor Ehud, ‘M’ was detained on 15/10/2019 after a lengthy and thorough investigation.

Ehud admitted that he had deprived the church of the sum of N670,000.
