Boomplay has more than 60 million users worldwide-17 million of them from Nigeria and a vast catalogue of more than 20 M songs.
So the main point is what did Nigerians listened in the whole of 2019?
Burna Boy occupied the position of the most-watched and listened, artist in Nigeria after a successful year with the release of his Album-African Giant.
The top five most-watched artists are rounded out by Tope Alabi, Kizz Daniel, Teni and Naira Marley.
The top single of the year comes from Tope Alabi with “Yes And Amen” taking the spot for most of the 2019 watched album.
After Teni’s Uyo Meyo, You are Yahweh by Steve Crown, Kizz Daniel’s Madu, the most-watched song of the year came with his popular song Soapy from Naira Marley.
Tope Alabi’s “Yes And Amen” racked up as the most downloaded album in 2019, followed by Kizz Daniel’s “No Bad Songz, Burna Boy’s African Giant, Tobe Alabi, and TY Bello’s” The Spirit & Light “collaboration claiming Falz’s fourth spot and Moral Instruction as fifth.
