Attorney Daniel Cameron became the first African-American Republican elected to be Kentucky Attorney General in more than 70 years on Tuesday night.
Daniel Jay Cameron is an American politician, lawyer, and Kentucky’s current attorney general.[1 ] Cameron is also a former football player at the University of Louisville.
He will be Kentucky’s first African American Attorney General after assuming office as Attorney General, and the first Republican elected to the office since World War II.
