The Nigerian Railway Corporation has announced the commencement of the Nigerian Railway Corporation Recruitment 2016 exercise.

The Nigerian Railway System has seen some drastic rehabilitation and modernization with the full political and financial support from the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Transport.

The rehabilitation of the Railway System includes track spot renewal of Lagos to Kano and Maiduguri to Port-Harcourt, supply of 25 new locomotive engines from Brazil South America to boost the existing locomotive power base of the Corporation, upgrading of the signaling and telecommunication system from manual to semi-automatic, as well as rehabilitation of Carriage and Wagon Workshops, re-equipping the workshops, supply of service support (spare part consumables), strategic rebranding of the Corporation, rehabilitation of stations and marshaling yards, amongst others.

As a result of the commissioning of the Abuja to Kaduna Standard Gauge Rail Service, the expansion and introduction of new routes in the Nigerian Railway System, the Nigerian Railway Corporation Recruitment 2016 has seeks to bring in interested and well qualified applicants into the system as staff to meet the new vision of the Nigerian Railway Corporation.

Basic Qualifications for the Nigerian Railway Corporation Recruitment 2016

Grade Level 06 Qualification: OND in relevant fields

Grade Level 07 Qualification: OND with minimum of three (3) years relevant experience

Grade Level 08 Qualification: HND or University Degree in relevant fields
